The Digital Training Workshop Begins in Mojacar
The digital training workshop “Prepared: Digital Training for Unemployed Women,” targeting local women who are unemployed or affected by “ERTE” temporary regulation of employment to aid in finding employment or enhancing their professional careers, commenced last Tuesday in Mojácar.
Organized by the Junta de Andalucía through the Employment, Business, and Self-Employment Regional Ministry and financed with Next Generation funds from the European Union, the workshop is being conducted by Sandetel, the Andalusian Society for the Development of Telecommunications attached to the Junta de Andalucía’s Regional Ministry for the Presidency. Additionally, Mojácar Council’s Culture Department is collaborating in the initiative.
The objective is to help interested individuals discover the possibilities that technology offers and to enhance the development of their work and professional potential. The workshop spans two weeks and is conducted in the afternoon, totaling 40 in-person hours.
During the initial phase, students learn essential technological skills for job searching, including utilizing social media and various employment platforms effectively, as well as adapting their resumes for online networks to optimize their job-seeking efforts.
Following the basic knowledge phase, the second stage focuses on learning to use Microsoft Windows, the standard operating system for home and business computers, with the goal of enhancing employment search and information retrieval skills.
Fifteen women from the municipality are participating in the workshop, held at the Mojácar Multi-Uses Centre, seizing the opportunity to familiarize themselves with new technologies and their benefits.
