Currently, there are seven weekly flights catering to passengers bound for Mojácar, and starting in 2024, an eighth flight will be added. This new route, operating every Sunday from May to November, will bring visitors from Bristol directly to Mojácar.

This increase in flight capacity is expected to result in a rise in tourist arrivals, effectively extending the tourism season almost until the year’s end. This development marks a significant milestone in the efforts to mitigate the seasonal nature of tourism in the region, a goal that the local authority has been actively pursuing.

Additionally, agreements have been finalized to promote family tourism, with projections indicating a substantial increase of approximately 60% compared to previous seasons.
