Mojácar Town Council, through its Department of Tourism, has launched an exciting campaign featuring free guided tours to showcase the town’s natural beauty throughout the autumn and winter seasons. These tours offer visitors the opportunity to explore Mojácar’s diverse trails and cultural routes, each adorned with breathtaking scenery. Led by professional guides, these hikes will take place every Saturday morning, allowing participants to immerse themselves in the town’s stunning surroundings.
In collaboration with local hotels, the council aims to promote weekend getaways in Mojácar, capitalizing on the region’s pleasant weather that facilitates outdoor activities year-round. To complement these weekend retreats, the Town Hall has organized a series of theatrical productions, with a different play staged each Friday evening, providing yet another reason to experience Mojácar’s charm on weekends.
Mojácar Town Council has curated seven distinct routes of varying difficulty levels, ensuring that families and tourists of all experience levels can enjoy them. These routes, ranging from 7 to 10 kilometers, offer both circular and linear options. Each route comes with detailed information regarding difficulty, duration, clothing recommendations, and other helpful tips, making it accessible to all participants. On average, the hikes will last approximately two hours.
The free guided tours will commence on November 4th with the Sopalmo – Bordenares – Granatilla route, followed by the Mojácar village – La Paratá – Mojácar village route on November 11th. Subsequent routes scheduled for November include La Mena – Macena – The observatories on the 18th and Mojácar village – Alcantarilla – el Jalí – Mojácar village on the 25th.

Additionally, an interpretative route of the Huertas de Mojácar is scheduled for December 16th, followed by a special family visit to the old town of Mojácar on December 30th.
