The Magic of Disney Fills Mojácar With Members of the Public and Its Most Popular Characters

The second edition of “The Magic of Disney in Mojácar” brought joy and excitement to the old town as beloved Disney characters roamed the streets, delighting children and families who eagerly awaited their arrival. The event, organized by the Local Council and the Walt Was Here Association, drew nearly 3,000 people who didn’t want to miss the opportunity to meet their favorite characters.

From Goofy to Mickey and Minnie, and from Snow White to Alice, the streets were filled with iconic Disney personalities, creating a magical atmosphere reminiscent of the legendary Walt Disney’s creations. Dancers even performed choreography from “The Lion King,” adding to the enchantment of the event.

“The Magic of Disney in Mojácar” has become a cherished tradition in the municipality’s calendar, promising to improve and expand with each passing year. Two large murals now adorn the streets, welcoming visitors with images of Mickey and recounting Walt Disney’s potential connections to Mojácar.

As part of the Christmas programming organized by the Local Council, the Disney characters will return to Mojácar in December. Children will have the opportunity to meet them, take photos, and enjoy the enchantment of Disney magic in the heart of the old town.
