Mojacar Continues to Shine at Christmas

Mojácar is gearing up for a Christmas season filled with magic and enchantment, building on the success of last year’s festive celebrations. With a vibrant Christmas calendar, the Local Council aims to create unforgettable experiences for families and friends visiting the town.

Starting from December 1st and running until January 6th, Mojácar will be abuzz with a wide array of activities and events for all ages. From workshops and musical performances to street artists, circus acts, and magic shows, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Disney characters will be adding to the festive cheer with dances, parades, and interactive games throughout the town’s squares and streets.

The Christmas market, opening on December 6th, will offer a treasure trove of decorations and unique gifts to adorn homes and spread holiday cheer. Meanwhile, the nativity scene in Plaza del Parterre promises to evoke the spirit of the season, with its inauguration ceremony featuring hot chocolate on December 2nd.

Building on the dazzling display of lights from last year’s Ferrero Rocher competition, Mojácar Council is set to enhance the town’s illumination with additional decorations, transforming it into a radiant spectacle. The official lighting ceremony on December 8th will be marked by a special gala, featuring the renowned Raya Real group performing flamenco carols.
