The Writer Julia Navarro Will Present Her Latest Book in Mojácar, This Wednesday

Julia Navarro, a journalist and one of Spain’s best-selling authors, will visit Mojácar on Wednesday, September 20th, to present her latest book, “Una Historia Compartida” (A Shared History). The presentation will take place at 8 pm in the Multi-Use Centre as part of the “Mojácar Literary Space” cycle organized by Mojácar Council.

During her visit, Julia Navarro will explore the old town of Mojácar and will be received at the Town Hall by Mayor Francisco García Cerdá, Culture Councillor Noemí Linares, and other members of the government team, where she will sign the town’s Book of Honour.

After presenting her book and engaging with the audience, Julia Navarro will be available for book signing. Copies of her latest book and other publications will be available for purchase at the Multi-Use Centre.

The “Mojácar Literary Space” series kicked off with Carmen Mola and the presentation of her work “Madres,” which was a tremendous success with a full house at the Multi-Use Centre. Carmen Mola, the pseudonym for Antonio Mercero, Agustín Martínez, and Jorge Díaz, has won the Planeta Prize and garnered a large following, revolutionizing the literary world.

Through the “Mojácar Literary Space” cycle, Mojácar Council, in collaboration with the Macenas Resort complex, aims to introduce readers in the municipality and the Levante region to some of Spain’s best authors. This initiative brings culture and reading closer to the community, providing opportunities to engage with renowned writers. The autumn lineup promises more exciting events, including appearances by Lorenzo Silva and Santiago Posteguillo.
